Murphy's Attic
Murphy's Attic is an exclusive line of apparel and accessories. The original sketch, by local artist Leslie Watson, is of Murphy, a 12 year old wire hair fox terrier. Murphy spent the first eight years of her life being used as a breeder dog in a puppy mill. When no longer of value to the mill she was sent to be destroyed. Luckily, Murphy was rescued from the puppy mill and placed for adoption through a local rescue. After several months in foster care Murphy was adopted by a couple with another wire. Adjusting to life outside of a kennel was difficult at times but her new family was determined to give her the best possible life for her remaining years.
Since Murphy was rescued she has undergone several surgeries. She had her knee replaced, her spleen removed and a triple mastectomy for breast cancer. Happily, she is cancer free for over two years now. Her courage during these times, her wonderfully sweet personality, and her unending trust in us prompted this line.
In an effort to help other wire hair fox terriers in similar situations we donate 20% of the sale for all Murphy's Attic purchases to Wire Fox Terrier Rescue Great Lakes. Items available for sale are:
